i watched these two films for the first time on the local channel when i was still in primary school. i was probably too young to have a favourite movie at that time. but these ones definitely triggered me, immediately. safe to say they are still in my all-time favourite list. last night, one of the movie channels here was showing the first movie. it was probably not as good as when i first watched it many many years back, but do you know the feeling of having your old favourite song played on a random radio station on a random night? exactly how i felt. like getting a little nice surprise :) (well, which actually led me to this post. i was reminiscing so i just thought of sharing)



later on i fell in love with these :) they never get old, never get boring. raw, in a good way. no cgi shit. something simply, purely epic about some of them. too bad they don't make these kind of films anymore.
